LWSY PHOTO DIARY – THE SEINE FLOODS PARIS – JUNE 2016

You will have seen the news, those striking images of the Seine river rising day by day earlier this June in Paris. In the heart of the city, by Île Saint Louis moments from our apartment we were close to serious trouble.

I walked out to take a look for myself, the rise and fall of the water levels over the few days of madness that had much of Paris on red alert.
