London Interior Shops > Design is a journey of discovery

London, one of the best cities in the World. It also happens to be ones of my favourite sources of inspiration. So many nooks and pockets of beautiful architecture. Clarendon Cross in Holland Park is one of my most loved corners. It also happens to be home to one of the most beautiful restaurants Julie’s on 135 Portland Road.

For interiors though, let me share just a few favourite places…

Cos x Hay. In the basement at Cos on 126 Kensington Church W8 Street Hay have just arrived selling some of their most iconic designs.

Liberty London. Hands down one of the most beautiful stores in London. Fashion, interiors, and just a beautiful space to lose yourself in. Head to Regents Street, and take the lift to the 4th floor.

Skandium, 245 Brompton Road opened in August 2007 and is their largest shop in London. The store is located opposite the impressive Brompton Oratory and near the Victoria & Albert museum, and just down the road from Harrods. Neighbours include Cassina, Divertimenti, B&B Italia and the Conran Shop, and together they form the Brompton Design District, making the area come alive with design events during London Design festival each September.

Head to Bloomsbury to find Pentreath & Hall. One of the most unusual and exciting shops in London. Tucked away in a quiet street of beautiful early Georgian houses in one of the loveliest hidden corners of London.

The Cloth Shop at 290 Portobello Road is a little gem. Stocked full of the most beautiful linens to buy on the roll as well as antiques, ready made soft furnishings and household wares.

Situated in North Mayfair, The New Craftsman on 34 North Row, opened in June 2014 to showcase the craft skills, processes and traditions of British craft makers. Inhabiting the ground floor of a striking arts and crafts period building, originally designed and built in the 19th century as a workshop for a firm of leather breeches makers.

Just a stone’s throw from Selfridges, the shop plays host to an exciting range of work from British makers across the country, as well as a special commissioning area dedicated to welcoming clients to their bespoke service.
