ARCHIVE POST > IN THE GOLDEN TRIANGE > HÔTEL VERNET PARIS
A sumptuous Parisian building in the legendary Haussmann style, Hôtel Vernet, Paris is housed in a building which has seen centuries of change. Situated in just about the most perfect location for most travellers to the city, between the golden Triangle of Paris and the Place de l’Etoile on the Champs-Elysées. The building has always only ever been a hotel since it’s birth in 1913. In 2014 the hotel arrived into the world of the elite design hotel.
Entirely renovated and refurbished by its new owners for the new opening, the French family owned hotel group, Bessé Signature, Hôtel Vernet revives the tradition of the great Parisian establishments of the chic 8th arrondissement.
A contemporary interior created by Interior Designer François Champsaur, who pays tribute to Parisian elegance and French craftsmanship.
The bar at Hôtel Vernet offers an intimate atmosphere, with a beautiful fresco ceiling painted by internationally celebrated Jean-Michel Aberola, which reflects the dynamics of the carpets designed by the same artist.
Under its monumental stained glass dome roof designed by the famed Gustave Eiffel, the restaurant of the Hôtel Vernet is truly every reason to visit the hotel just for lunch or dinner.
The kitchen is visibly accessible through a large window, creating discrete and uninterrupted activity. The eye is drawn around the room, attracted by the many original works of art from contemporary artists, you could almost feel like you were dining in somebody’s home.
