Inspired by Sophie’s signature gold-plated charms, a new collection of silk scarves have just been launched at the iconic Liberty of London. Sophie has always been interested in collecting things, I remember her magpie eye at school when we were 16, and her project at uni when for weeks I remember her using action figures for a design project in her foundation year. Now biro lids and bubble blowers have now become synonymous with Sophie’s brand, and a craze amongst her followers to collect as many as you can. 

So you will know that each season a new charm proudly hangs from her handbags, purses and clutches. We all wait eagerly to see which charm she’s going unveil next. A few examples are below. From the first chip fork for A/W 09 to the goggle eyes launched this S/S14. I counted this week that I’m up to 12 charms (and it’s still not a complete collection…).

The scarf designs presented at this weeks launch in the Heritage Suite at Liberty of London, sponsored by Nyetimber, presented 5 designs, Chip Fork, Charm Border, Charm Bracelet, Spirograph and Windowpane. Liberty had their professional scarf stylist to assist us in new ways of styling our favourites throughout the evening. Below I was given my own lesson.
