Blog Post: Boodles Boxing Ball, The Grosvenor House Hotel, London
The biennial Boodles Boxing Ball returned to London this weekend. Organised by Boodles Director James Amos, the society black-tie event, the fourth of its kind was held at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London. It’s location chosen as it’s the only venue of its kind in London big enough to accommodate the ever growing event.
As a guest of Veuve Clicquot, I was lucky enough to be seated on a ringside table for the evening with Annabel Davidson, Senior Editor at Vanity Fair, Sasha Wilkins AKA Liberty London Girl, Benjamin West (our host), Oliver Gerrish and Louise Kahrmann who came in from Paris for the evening. For a quick insight take a look at some of the weighing in party photos here.

As a guest of Veuve Clicquot, I was lucky enough to be seated on a ringside table for the evening with Oliver Gerrish, Annabel Davidson, Senior Editor at Vanity Fair, Sasha Wilkins AKA Liberty London Girl, Benjamin West (our host) and Louise Kahrmann who came in from Paris for the evening. The evening was held in aid of the Starlight Foundation, a charity that promises to turn the wishes of terminally ill children into reality. With a powerful video screening showing some of the work the charity do moments before the much hyped auction, emotions were rather high. With a fashion show, courtesy of Beulah, and a fantastic auction by Phillips de Pury Director (and Paddle8 founder) Alexander Gilkes, raising over £200,000 for the charity, it was wildly exciting to watch. With so many extraordinary faces around us, the whole night was quite the treat.
Thanks to Liberty London Girl for capturing a silly moment with the Veuve boxing gloves…
